We offer a variety of vaccines to help you prevent diseases like shingles and pneumonia. Most vaccines are covered with little to no co-pay with the majority of insurances. Read more below about specific vaccines we offer.
Have you heard about the new Shingles vaccine? Shingrix is recommended for all individuals 50 years of age and older, even if you received the old shingles vaccine (Zostavax).
This vaccine helps protect infants and children from whooping cough and is recommended for close family members of newborns, including grandparents, and for pregnant women. It is also recommended for all patients to receive a tetanus booster every 10 years.
Did you know there is a vaccine that can prevent some cancers? The HPV vaccine is recommended for young women aged 11 to 26 years and young men aged 11 to 21 years.
There are two pneumonia vaccines, Prevnar 13 and Pneumovax 23, recommended for all patients aged 65 years and older. A pneumonia vaccine is also recommended for those under the age of 65 with certain medical conditions.
The flu vaccine is recommended for all patients and especially if you have certain medical conditions.
The flu vaccine updates yearly, so you will need to obtain a flu shot each flu season, which starts early October. The vaccine takes two weeks to become fully effective, so it is recommended to get your flu shot before the end of September.
